I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
